Job Title: Clinical Dietetic Specialist

Job Description: San Antonio State Hospital is seeking a full time dietitian to provide nutritional care for high risk patients. Duties include screening, counseling, performing nutritional assessments, attending treatment team staffing, developing and implementing nutrition education programs for patients and families, communicating the nutritional needs of the patients to health care professionals and observing meal service for quality standards.
Requirement: Possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Food and Nutrition or related field and certification as an active Registered Dietitian (RD). One (1) year of clinical work experience mandatory. Two (2) years of work experience in Clinical Dietetics and Texas Licensure are preferred.
