Job description: Amerita is seeking a dynamic dietitian to provide nutrition assessments for home TPN and enteral patients. Responsibilities include initial assessments, ongoing monitoring of patients on TPN and enteral therapy, making recommendations to pharmacists, nurses and physicians as needed, educating and providing support for patients and their caregivers. Dietitian will participate as a member of the pharmacy team, coordinating care with the pharmacist and will also support sales team on sales calls, presentations and other activities as requested.
Job Requirements: Must have strong oral and written communication skills, organizational skills, high level of self-motivation, initiative, flexibility and ability to work under pressure. Comply with operational policies and procedures and work well with other team members. Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration. One year experience in nutrition support required. Certified Nutrition Support Clinician and state license preferred. Must have valid driver's license. Part-time and/or full-time available.
